Library Mural

To launch our stunning school library and to help get the children inspired about reading and art, we were lucky enough to be visited by local mural artist, Rory McCann. Taking suggestions from the children and featuring characters and book references from quality texts studied in school, Rory transformed the library reading nook into a carriage on the Hogwarts' Express, taking the children on a journey into literature and their own amazing imaginations. To complete the mural, Rory incorporated some of the children's own artwork, transferring their pictures into frames painted on the walls.
