Year 3 - Sharks 2020 - 2021

Mrs Stinson

Hello Sharks of September 2020!

I am so looking forward to welcoming you all into Year Three and Sharks class this week. Some of you may have been in the Year Two 'bubble' during the Summer term, and others of you might not have been in school since March so it will be amazing to be able to have you all in school to start the year together.

You will, of course, have lots of questions to ask when you arrive at school and we will spend lots of time getting to know eachother and learning and refamiliarising ourselves with routines in and around school. it will be lovely to have Mrs Myers and Miss Morris will be with us too!

I have been trying very hard over the summer to learn your names, and I'm sure I'll know lots of them already but I will do my best to know everyone's names very quickly.

Please try to remember to bring back any books that were given to you in your home learning packs by Miss Jones, and I will give them back to her for you. Also, remember to bring your PE kit ready for our PE lesson later on in the week.

Last but not least, I'm looking forward to seeing lots of smiling Sharks at the door and I am so excited for the year we have together.

Stay safe

Mrs Stinson

Christian Theme of the Month

The Christian theme for this half term is 'Thankfulness'.

"Always be thankful." 1 Thessalonians 5.16

In school we will be:

Exploring the value of thankfulness.

Encouraging pupils to show thankfulness to each other and adults both in school and at homet.

Exploring the things we are thankful for and how we can show thanks.

Parents and carers, please help us at home to support your child in their understanding of the above concepts.
